Black Oak coffee rivals any other small batch craft roaster out there and they have the best subscription deal out there. Seriously worth it and it such a treat to have 2 single origin bags show up at my door every month. I only wished they offered bi- monthly subscriptions as well!

Great coffees again and my favorite was the El Chalun. It's amazing to get a coffee from just one small farm. I love this subscription. I get all giddy whenever the email shows up telling me my shipment is on its way.

Single origin light roast beans freshly roasted and sent to my door! They even can customize your deliveries for you, something i had to do when i realized that 2 bags would only last me 3 weeks instead of a month.

I like some better than others, but Black Oak coffee is consistently better than most. Plus, it's a great local company. I became a member at the start of the nationwide lockdown, to make sure I wouldn't be without my favorite coffee. My monthly package from Black Oak is my favorite mail.

The first week of the month is Xmas for me. I have never tracked a package so closely as this one. My only regret is that it doesn’t come from the North Pole. Ukiah is a close second.

I love the variety of Ethiopian flavors and the best from around the world. I trust that the coffee selected by BOC is the best. Not to mention their staff is incredibly responsive. Feels good to support a small and exquisite roaster. Well done y’all.

Black Oak Coffee has perfectly roasted single origins. We enjoy tasting the flavors of different coffees and they do a great job in finding the perfect roast level to bring out the flavor without smothering with a heavy roast.

Black Oak Tasting Club is great! I'm always excited to discover new types of coffee each month. Also I'm happy to still be able to experience Black Oak coffee even though I no longer live in Ukiah!

First batch of coffee has been fun. As I get more into flavor profiles I hope to enjoy them even more.

I had received a bag of Dukunde Kawa coffee beans, as well as Kivu. When i had received the two bags of coffee, I was quite excited to try them out. I tried the Dukunde Kawa first, via the French Press method. And I have to say, what a great experience it was! The taste was unlike anything I had ever experienced. Rich in flavor and simply incredible. I described it to my friend as a perfectly aimed kick to the head that gently braises the nose. The Kivu brought on a similar experience. Delicious, rich in flavor, and my new found favorite part of the morning.

Coffee came right away and was roasted the day before! So far we opened and finished the Minas which was amazing, peanut butter and chocolate :)

I am a big fan of this mail order subscription and their coffee:
1) The coffee tastes great. Best coffee I have had, whether in my house, or elsewhere. I make the coffee in a good drip coffee machine and I still taste the notes, and appreciate the quality of the coffee. Really beautiful tasting coffee.
2) I get my coffee like clockwork: mailed on the 1st of month; get on 3d or 4th of month.
3) I also like the discount I get an additional coffee. I have also bought the Heartwood coffee and thought it tasted great as well.
4) The price is right. I priced other subscriptions and analyzed everything by cost per ounce and this is one of the more affordable subscriptions.
5) When I have called to ask questions, they have been very nice on the phone.
